Robbie & Annabel Gray
2017 started with a bang. We were fortunate enough to be asked to photograph the wedding of Annabel and Robbie Gray.
We always try to make the most of the ‘destinations' when we leave Fremantle to shoot a ‘Destination Wedding’. We decided to enjoy all the fun and antics over NYE that St Kilda had to offer. Much to Shakey’s delight we managed an impromptu visit to a Banksy exhibition as well.
On the morning of the 1st of January we dusted off the hangovers and headed out to the Yarra Valley. Ange and Shakey could straight away see why it was such a popular place to tie the knot. We did our initial pre shoots at ‘Stones of the Yarra Valley’ two days ahead of the wedding.
Both Annabel and Robbie looked fantastic. With Ange’s careful direction they were able to pose at ease in the pre selected locations. Showing off her years of experience shooting portraits.
Anyway - we’ll let the photographs do the talking…oh.. I forgot to mention - Shakey managed to create a sensational piece of ‘Live Wedding Art’ a 60x60 canvas of a portrait Ange took at the ceremony check out the time-lapse of his masterpiece.
