There’s something truly magical about country weddings, and I absolutely love capturing them! The natural beauty of the South West provides the perfect backdrop, whether it’s rolling farmland, golden paddocks, or wildflower-filled meadows. But what makes these weddings even more special is the personal connection couples have to their land—often a family farm that has been passed down for generations. Every rock, tree, and fence post holds a story, making each wedding uniquely sentimental.

One of my favorite parts of photographing farm weddings is the adventure—driving around the property, music playing, sharing laughs, and chasing the perfect golden light. There’s a relaxed, laid-back energy that makes country wedding photography so full of life and authenticity.

Emily and Brad’s wedding was a perfect example of this! From the ceremony held on the site of their future home to the old truck they used as their wedding transport, every detail was thoughtful and personal. We explored some incredible backdrops across their property, and with wildflower season in full bloom, the setting couldn’t have been more breathtaking.
