TESTIMONIALS
"The quality of Shakey’s artwork is phenomenal! His mural accurately depicts our event and by being a feature in the Main Street, our whole community can be reminded of what we collectively accomplish every October. The week with Shakey painting the mural was an event within itself and it is now another tourist attraction every day in our wonderful town.
It was made even better that the whole painting experience was documented through video and photos by Ange. Ange also snapped some absolutely cracking photos throughout our race weekend. She got up close and personal with the competitors, and managed to capture the fun and excitement had by our visitors.
We love what Shakey and Ange have done for the Kulin community! We would highly recommend them to anyone who are seeking to create an amazing public art space in their town. To top it off, they are an amazing duo to work with. Easy going, yet professional.
Thanks Shakey and Ange! "

"After following the artistic story of Shakey and his incredible large scale murals that were popping up around the wheatbelt of Western Australia, I knew that he would be the perfect choice to bring some historical stories to life at Bullara Station. As luck would have it , the family had plans to head north during the school holidays and they based themselves with us during the time it took to bring our collective vision to the canvas. Both Jacob (shakey ) and his wife Ange were so wonderful to chat to, we shared some old photos and in no time Shakey had created a masterpiece on his ipad - then the magic happened!
It was truly remarkable to watch the mural unfold, a total of 10 days from start to finish, and all done using a spray can with the canvas being the side of a sea container.. The crowds would gather each day to watch Shakey at work and were all blown away by the skill in his application, every masterstroke became lifelike and started to tell a story of early pioneering days. It was remarkable to see such a large-scale production come to life in a very short time, I have never seen anything quite like this and am so thrilled to be able to support such a talent, I am hoping that we can bring him back to continue, although I feel that a person of this level of excellence will be hard to pin down!
Bullara Station Stay now has a new attraction and this is just the beginning of some historical storytelling. Thankyou so much Shakey Butler – you are amazing!!!"
